Paul Wester

Paul Wester is the founder of Wester Naval Architecture. After completing his education in Naval Architecture, he worked for several years in Indonesia at various shipyards. As construction coordinator he managed local construction teams in the field of small shipbuilding. After returning to the Netherlands, he ended up in the technical services sector where he was responsible for the technical coordination in the field of CAD/CAM Engineering, software development and training of employees at home and abroad. This increasingly involved managing teams, planning projects and the associated administration.

Through this broad work experience, he has built up enormous expertise in the field of design, engineering and supervising the entire process of hull construction. In 2008, he founded Wester Naval Architecture.

When founded, the guiding principles were: a strong focus on customer satisfaction. We want to provide the best solutions for our clients. We believe in building long-term relationships with clients and providing customized solutions that meet their specific needs within the given circumstances.

Hans Slieker

Hans Slieker was born into a shipbuilding family and spent a lot of time at his father's shipyard from an early age. After studying Mechanical and Shipbuilding Engineering, he worked at various companies and engineering firms before deciding to work at his father's shipyard.

At the shipyard, he often still put on his boiler suit to work in the shed, in addition to the drawing work and project supervision he took on. His passion lies mainly in drawing and work preparation of the whole thing.

At Wester Naval Architecture, his expertise and passion comes into its own. He works closely with Paul Wester and the team to provide clients with high quality services and customized solutions for their ship and yacht building projects.

Hans is a driven professional with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to further expand his knowledge and skills.
